Piemonte Mondiale edizione 2011: una sfida tutta al femminile
Back to the World Cup Alpine Skiing in Sestriere January 27 to 30 with a downhill and super combined.
Olympic Mountains and the slopes of the Milky Way continues to be in the foreground: a Sestriere from27 to 30 January, 2011 Piedmont stop off and two World Cup races of the Alpine Skiing World women.

Piedmont World Cup is in its third year and it is this mix of sports, music, entertainment, engines, food and wine ... who wants to be able to satisfy everyone's needs and involve a wider public. The athletes who will compete on our own tracks deserve our warmth, cheer and celebrations.
The race program will start on Thursday 27 and Friday, January 28th with official practice of the downhill on Saturday, 29 girls drop jet on the track for the first day of competition in the challenging downhill (ore 10.30) e domenica 30 toccherà alla super combinata sempre femminile che prevede, nella stessa giornata, lo svolgimento di una gara di SuperG (ore 10.00) più una manche di Slalom Speciale (ore 13.00). Teatro di gara sarà nuovamente la pista Kandahar Banchetta G. Nasi dove si sono disputate le ultime due edizioni di Coppa nel febbraio 2009 gigante e super combinata maschile e nel gennaio 2008 discesa libera e super-g femminile.
Sestriere rappresenta sicuramente una tappa tradizionale del Circo Bianco, risale infatti al lontano 1967 la prima competizione del circuito di Coppa del Mondo lungo queste pendici. Una tradizione che si protrae da oltre 40 anni, con 33 edizioni, per un totale di 56 gare, senza contare the organization of the World Cup Finals, World Championships and Olympics.
The celebrations for the athletes of the White Circus will begin Friday, January 28 with the big opening night and that provides for the Rotary dinner at the Burrow in proportion of the fox on the slopes Alpetto torchlight and fireworks that will be a tribute World 150 years of Piedmont to the unification of Italy. The evening will end with the great Tabata charity lottery organized by the Rotary District 2030, open to all starting at 23.30. The Abarth will organize a weekend in all engines, in the Sports Hall will set up a track for the Rally Show, which will perform the official drivers. The lucky ones may even experience emotions from the navigator, sitting alongside the driver! For the occasion, the Sports Hall will become home Abarth, the car show, historical and recent, and a point of sale merchandising all custom Abarth. E’ stata rinnovata anche l’iniziativa Passepartout con l’Editrice La Stampa. I lettori del quotidiano potranno partecipare all’evento ed avranno diritto ad un’area riservata nel parterre d’arrivo per assistere alle gare, ad un piatto caldo nell’area enogastronomica dell’Expo Village e ad uno skipass pomeridiano. Per raggiungere the race finish area is preferable to park the car in Sestriere and use the pedestrian path that goes down to Kandahar from Piazzale Borgata, journey time about 20 minutes. It will also be operating a free shuttle service from Sestriere Borgata Sestriere from 9.00 am until 17.00. In the afternoon, from 14.00, the chair Capret will be available to fans for the return to Sestriere (pedestrian service free).
